That I am lost.
Rather, I am trekking along the dirt path of
"once-was"
And seeking new ground
Where I can rest my head
And just be.
For a little while,
at least.
I don't believe
That I am "arrived."
I don't look down from the mountain and see
All that is mine,
Because it is not mine to have.
Instead, it is to have
me.
I don't think
Anyone truly belongs here.
We belong everywhere, all at once.
We desire to be within,
without,
and around.
But as we move
And water ourselves to thrive
We must remember to water others,
too
And tend to ourselves
So that we do not bend
